Two people have been arrested in connection with a Raleigh County crash earlier this year where drugs were involved. Deputies said
Breanna Blankenship and Benjamin Sturgell, both of Lewisburg, were arrested over the weekend in Raleigh County as fugitives. The Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office said warrants were issued after the pair was involved in a crash in July along U.S. 19 where their 2-year old child was a passenger. She suffered minor injuries, and two people in the other vehicle went to the hospital with serious injuries.
Both Blankenship and Stugell were charged with child neglect creating risk of injury, along with DUI charges.
