WVU Group to Study Potential Effects of Virgin Hyperloop Travel

West Virginia University said its Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute is partnering with Virgin Hyperloop to study how traveling at excessive speeds may impact the brain and body. The Virgin Hyperloop will build a facility in Tucker and Grant counties for a high-speed transportation system that can move people and goods in pods through a vacuum tube at speeds exceeding 600 mph. Work on the Virgin Hyperloop Certification Center facility in West Virginia is expected to begin in 2021.
