Flags at all city facilities will be flown at half-staff in honor of fallen Charleston police officer Cassie Johnson. She was shot earlier this week during an altercation on Garrison Avenue, and was removed from life support Thursday.
Senator Shelly Moore Capito honored Johnson on the floor of the U.S. Senate, and praised officers who put their lives on the line everyday.
