Police have charged a juvenile with the murder of four people whose bodies were found Sunday at a home in Elkview. A family member discovered three bodies after going to the home and Kanawha County Sheriff Mike Rutherford said 37-year old Daniel Dale Long, 39-year old Risa Mae Saunders, 12-year old Gage Ripley, and 3-year old Jameson Long were found dead. A fifth resident of the home, a juvenile, was safely located elsewhere and later charged. Rutherford said it’s unknown exactly when the deaths occurred, but the investigation is continuing. The male charged in the murders is 16 years old.
