Water customers may not realize it, but many of them have been switched to a new system. The Page-Kincaid PSD water treatment plant is out of service and all customers are getting water from West Virginia American Water’s New River water treatment plant. The Page-Kincaid system already had an interconnection with the WVAW New River water system at Laurel Creek, and water customers have been transitioned in phases. Additional water flushing and line cleaning will be conducted over the next several days and once that’s done, all Page-Kincaid customers will receive water service from WVAW.
