After a threat of cancellation, the annual Wreaths Across America event will go on at Arlington National Cemetery this weekend in Washington DC, with new safety precautions. The team at Wreaths Across America place thousands of wreaths at veterans’ graves at Arlington National Cemetery every December, and family members were allowed to visit the cemetery last weekend. The Old Guard distributed the rest of the wreaths this week. Plans are being made to decorate veterans’ graves locally as well.
