After the West Virginia Board of Education said full remote learning is not an option for schools, Kanawha County said it will use a blended learning model beginning Tuesday, Jan. 19 through Monday, Feb. 8. Some students who chose to continue virtual learning will be able to do that. Otherwise all Kanawha County students who selected to be in person for the second semester will attend two days per week through Feb. 8. Tuesday, Jan. 19 and Wednesday, Jan. 20 is for students with last names that begin with A-L to attend in person. Thursday, Jan. 21 and Friday, Jan. 22 will be for students with last names that begin with M-Z to attend in person. There is no school Monday because of the MLK holiday.
