A correctional officer and a nurse have been released from the hospital after they were potentially exposed to fentanyl at the South Central Regional Jail. Two inmates needed medical assistance and when the nurse and guard responded, they started to show signs of “medical distress.” The area where it happened was decontaminated, and the incident is under investigation.
