Boone County sheriff’s deputies said a man faces charges after he was accused of attacking an elderly woman who was in a wheelchair. Brian Osborne of Madison was arrested after an incident Friday in the Quinland area. The Boone County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to a report of a domestic violence situation with a weapon involved. The man eventually fled to another room, putting himself between the deputies and an elderly woman who was in a wheelchair, according to the criminal complaint. Deputies said the suspect began fighting the deputies and a state trooper but they were eventually able to get him into handcuffs. Deputies said the woman sustained minor injuries.
