A hero’s funeral was held Monday for a Braxton County toddler who was killed last week. Samuel Workman was arrested and charged with the death of 3-year-old Kyran Hoover. Troopers said the boy was badly beaten. Family and friends are remembered Kyran at a ceremony that included policemen, firefighters, EMS workers, and a favorite superhero of Kyran’s. Heroes for Hire charity worker and Batman impersonator John Buckland prayed for the family at the service. A GoFundMe page has been set up for the family, and more than $5,000 has already been raised.
