The state House Health and Human Resources Committee could take up a proposed bill next week that would make changes to the Above Ground Storage Tank Act. The legislation would redefine what an above ground storage tank is, in order to exempt oil and gas tanks from regulations, including tanks that are upstream from drinking water. More than seventy people were on a Zoom event, voicing opposition to the bill.
