Concealed Carry Bill Is Back Before Lawmakers

The issue of concealed carry rights on college campuses being discussed by state lawmakers. The bill in the judiciary committee allows licensed employees, staff and students with a concealed carry permit to carry a gun on a college campus, including school functions like sporting events with up to 2,500 people. In 2019, the Campus Carry Bill passed in the House before being killed in the Senate Judiciary Committee. Bills are due out of committees on March 28. It would need to pass in the Senate and then the House.
