An animal rescue group said more than 80 cats were seized last weekend from a home in Mingo County. Animal rescuers also said several cats were found dead in the home. Pitiful Paws Rescue said in a Facebook post that members of the group and Guardians of Rescue spent all day Saturday removing the animals from a home in Delbarton. The group said it has identified the caretaker of the cats who was living in the home until recently. Pitiful Paws said it is accepting donations to buy supplies to care for the animals, and donations also can be made to Guyan Animal Hospital.
