State lawmakers are considering a constitutional amendment that would give lawmakers final say in any rules created by the state Board of Education. The Supervision of Free Schools Modification Amendment passed the House this week and now goes to the Senate. If it’s passed in both chambers, the amendment will appear on the ballot in 2022.
