Members of a Logan County community center recently started a program called “Giving Warmth” putting together bags of necessities for anyone who needs them. Before the pandemic, more than 50 seniors regularly attended lunches and activities at the community center, and they wanted more to do. The bags are stuffed with sweaters, blankets, tissues, socks, and gloves for those that need them. The center is accepting donations, and they plan to continue making bags throughout the winter months.
