Potential medical cannabis patients have been waiting since the law passed in 2017 and starting tomorrow (Wednesday) they’ll be able to register for a card. Starting Wednesday at noon, they will be able to go to www.medcanwv.org to sign up. There are 15 medical conditions that qualify you to receive medical cannabis and they are things like being terminally ill, or having cancer, Crohn’s Disease, epileptic seizures, Parkinson’s Disease, or PTSD. All patients will have to be seen by a physician who has been trained to certify medical cannabis cards.
