Gov. Jim Justice announced Wednesday that there have been significant improvements in the state’s coronavirus numbers. There has been an 85% drop in the number of coronavirus-related deaths in the state in the past seven weeks, and more than half of the counties on the West Virginia county alert map are currently green. More than 502,000 total doses of the vaccine have been given, with 200-thousand people fully vaccinated.
