Beckley police said a man was arrested for the murder of a 7-year-old boy. 34-year old Rashad Thompson was found at the scene about 2:45 a.m. Thursday at Ritchie Apartments on Industrial Drive, according to a news release from the Beckley Police Department. He’s also accused of stabbing a 24-year old woman who was in critical condition at a hospital. Thompson was taken to Southern Regional Jail.
