West Virginia health officials reported five new COVID-19 deaths on Thursday including a 70-year-old man from Kanawha County, a 90-year-old woman from Kanawha County, a 44-year-old man from Kanawha County, and an 85-year-old man from Fayette County. There are 5,695 active cases in the state.
