Trial Wraps Up in Alleged False Kidnapping Case

Closing arguments got underway Monday in the case of a mother charged with fabricating a story about a man trying to kidnap her daughter. Santana Adams also testified in her own defense about the incident that took place at the Huntington Mall in 2019. Adams claimed an Egyptian man pulled her daughter’s hair and tried to kidnap her. The man she accused testified he was surprised when the police approached him. If she’s found guilty, Adams faces up to six months in jail and a fine up to $500.
