The Mingo County Sheriff’s Department is trying to track down who’s responsible for a massive dumpsite. The Sheriff’s office received complaints earlier in the week about the trash on abandoned mine property along Jennies Creek Road in the Kermit area. Deputies found mail with names and addresses from Wayne and Martin counties, to the Kentucky line. Several people were able to show proof that they paid someone to dispose of their trash. No arrests have been made, but several citations have been issued.
