The fountain is back on at Marshall University. The pandemic forced the spring fountain ceremony to be virtual in 2020, but fans and guests were back over the weekend as Marshall University turned the Memorial Fountain back on. The fountain ceremony honors the 75 people who died when the plane carrying the Marshall football team crashed on November 14, 1970. Former Marshall defensive back Bob Coleman was the keynote speaker at Saturday’s event.
