The jury in the Joshua Drennen murder trial is deliberating after hearing closing arguments on Friday. Drennen is accused of killing 77-year-old Barbara Steel inside her West Side home in February 2020, and attacking a police officer with an antique iron. That officer ended up shooting Drennen. His lawyer says Drennen suffers from mental illness and drug abuse.
