Playground is Dedicated to a Charleston Girl’s Memory

The City of Charleston has dedicated a park to the memory of a young and courageous girl who lost a battle with cancer. WV KIDS Cancer Crusaders kicked off Childhood Cancer Awareness Month with the dedication of a playground on South Street in Charleston to honor Bailee Rose Dunlap, who lost her battle with cancer in 2018. Charleston Mayor Amy Goodwin was at the dedication ceremony, along with Bailee’s sister Emma Dunlap who said Bailee spent most of her childhood at that specific playground.
