Labor group in West Virginia are filing a lawsuit that claims a new state law that bans deductions from state employee paychecks is discriminatory and was passed out of spite. The law prohibits deductions for union dues and fees, unless a worker provides written consent. Unions representing teachers, firefighters, police, coal miners and corrections officers were among those joining the lawsuit.
