A man who was charged in a 2020 shooting in Charleston pleaded guilty Monday to two charges related to a 2020 shooting. 24-year old Shaiheed Moore of Charleston is accused of firing shots at 26-year old Blake Thompson of Dunbar last July in what police said was a drug deal. Thompson was wounded in the chest and arm in a shooting at the intersection of Hunt Avenue and Sixth Street. He was taken to a local hospital and was in critical condition at the time. Moore will be sentenced on Sept. 7.
