Kanawha-Charleston Health Department Health Officer and CEO Dr. Sherri Young is stepping down. She led Kanawha County through the COVID-19 pandemic for more than a year, and has been nationally recognized for her work during the pandemic. Starting in August, Young will be the new Associate Chief Medical Officer at CAMC for the West Virginia Health Network.
