Smoke could be seen across the West End of Huntington on Saturday after two homes caught fire. Dispatchers said the blaze started in a home in the 1100 block of Jefferson Avenue before spreading to a neighbor’s house. The homes were occupied, but no injuries were reported. Witnesses said one of the homes caught fire just a few weeks ago. The cause of the blaze is under investigation, but homeowners said they believed it was electrical.
