A Kermit man has been arrested after a pursuit in Wayne County. The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office says Roger Waller is charged with fleeing in a vehicle and possession of a stolen vehicle. The sheriff’s office’s drug enforcement unit tried to catch a 2018 Cadillac ATS Wednesday night when the driver turned down Cedar Heights Road in Fort Gay. Deputies say the vehicle went at a high rate of speed to Route 52 and then headed south. The pursuit ended because of wet road conditions. The drug enforcement unit received a tip and found the suspect and vehicle shortly after the pursuit on Lost Creek Road in Fort Gay. The Cadillac was stolen from Ohio.
