Paving of the Kanawha Boulevard from Capitol Street to Greenbrier Street got underway Monday, and the city says all paving will take place in the evening with cones being placed at 5 p.m. Work will take place nightly this week from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. One lane will continually be open in both directions. Closures will begin with the fast lane and move to the slow lane. The temporary closure is expected to last seven to ten days.
