The Kanawha County Commission will host a public hearing this week to get feedback on proposed utility rate hikes. West Virginia American Water wants to raise water rates over 25-percent, and sewer and wastewater rates more than 30-percent. The hearing is scheduled for Wednesday at the LaBelle Theater in South Charleston.
