WV lawmakers return for special session

State lawmakers will return to Charleston for a special session next week. Governor Justice is asking lawmakers to approved 250-million-dollars in budget surplus money for various projects. There are over twenty different initiatives, including upgrades and expansions at several state parks, upgrades to the Elk River Trail, and upgrades to correctional facilities and replenishing the First Responders’ Death Fund. The fiscal year ends June 30th.
