Appalachian Power request rate increase

Appalachian Power wants to start collecting improvement costs it agreed to defer last year because of the pandemic. The power company is asking the PSC for two rate increases, including the expanded Net Energy Cost rate and a Vegetation Management surcharge. If the PSC approves both requests, that increase your monthly bill by over four-percent, or almost six-dollars-a-month.
