Several activities were held over the 4th of July holiday weekend as live events continue to bounce back. The Mountain State Art and Craft Fair in Ripley was canceled last year because of the pandemic, but it was back over the holiday, and it brought a chance for artisans to recover some pandemic-related losses. Hundreds turned out for the 59th fair, and fair staff are already making plans for next year’s 60th anniversary celebration to be held at Cedar Lakes from July 1 through July 3.
