An Ohio man is under arrest for leading police on chase down I-77 at speeds of more than one-hundred-miles-per-hour with a child in the car. Twenty-seven-year-old George Cherry is accused of fleeing from Ravenswood police during an attempted traffic stop. During the pursuit on the interstate, a Ravenswood officer lost control of his vehicle and slammed into median. He suffered minor injuries. Cherry is facing multiple charges, including fleeing and child neglect.
