A new mural celebrating Montgomery has been unveiled. City leaders and members of the community came out for the unveiling in the EDC parking lot near 3rd Avenue and Ferry Street last Saturday. The mural, which spells out “Montgomery” shows popular landmarks with nods to local culture. The images feature the town clock, Olde Main, local railroad heritage, the Shakespeare Theater and more. Each image in the mural was painted by a different local artist. The mural measures 15 feet tall and 77 feet long and was sponsored by the River Valley Arts.
