Renovations for the outdoor plaza at the Mountain Health Arena in Huntington have been completed. The arena had a ribbon cutting ceremony this week celebrating the new outdoor area. The $2 million project was made possible by a land and water conservation grant in addition to a bond issuance. City officials say they hope the new renovations can be used to hold more outdoor concerts and provide more outdoor seating for those in the downtown area.
Plans are currently being made to update the inside of the arena as well.
