The Charleston Police Department teamed up with a local cornhole league Saturday to host the inaugural Team CPD Cornhole Tournament. The tournament was held at the Laidley Field and dozens turned out for the tournament and car show which let people see police cruisers and fire trucks up close. Proceeds for the event will go towards funding a new mentoring program called Team CPD, which stands for “Children Pursuing Dreams.”
