A new program helps ensure that veterans are not lonely at the end of their life. The Uniforms for the Final Salute program aims to help veterans who are either homeless or without family, and places like the Roark Sullivan Lifeway Center and Goodwill Industries have contributed through the program. Veterans are honored with a uniform for a military burial, and given a burial plot and other honors. Anyone can donate used uniforms for the Final Salute program at a Goodwill store or find out more online.
