KCHA Travels to Tennessee to Rescue Two Dozen Dogs

A local animal rescue group headed to Tennessee on Saturday to pick up dogs displaced by flooding. The Kanawha-Charleston Humane Association picked up 24 shelter dogs in Chattanooga, Tennessee, who were displaced from Mississippi after the group Petco Love coordinated a massive evacuation of 280 dogs and 90 cats. The humane association needs donations of Purina Dog Chow, dog treats and wet food to help support these new animals arriving. The rescue comes on the one-year anniversary of the KCHA rescuing dogs from Hurricane Laura in Texas.
