Preston County Man Faces Arson Charges for Molotov Cocktail-Like Device

State fire marshals said a Preston County man was jailed on a $100,000 bond after he was accused of throwing a makeshift firebomb at a vehicle. 32-year old Gregory Smouse of Tunnelton allegedly targeted a vehicle parked at a Kingwood home with something similar to a Molotov cocktail, according to the West Virginia State Fire Marshal’s Office. West Virginia State Police and the Kingwood Police Department investigated, and Smouse was arrested on several charges, including 4th degree arson. More charges could be added.
