The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a fourteen-year-old girl. Da’nija L. Miller of Charleston was shot in the Rutledge Area inside a house at 192 Ryan Drive. Several people have been detained for questioning and police said many people were in the area at the time of the shooting. The case is still under investigation as to whether the shooting was a homicide or accidental. Kanawha County School officials said Miller was a freshman at Capital High School.
