Gov. Jim Justice dismissed the need this week for any new guidelines to address the spread of the delta variant. The governor said getting the vaccine should the the focus, and not installing restrictions. Justice also said he is not going to impose a statewide mandate to require masks in public schools at any grade level, and the state board of education also said this week the decision should be left to each local board.
