St. Albans-based coffee house Coal River Coffee Company announced over the weekend it is opening a second location in South Charleston. The owners, Mike and Rachel Ervin, said outside of St. Albans, the next most popular locations customers are from are South Charleston and Scott Depot/Teays Valley. The South Charleston shop will be Coal River Coffee Company’s second location, and it will be in the West Virginia Regional Technology Park near BridgeValley Community and Technical College. An opening date has not yet been announced for the new location.
