The Summersville Police Department is filing a juvenile petition on the driver of a truck that damaged a middle school athletic field and other nearby properties. Police shared video of a truck doing doughnuts on an athletic practice field at Summersville Middle School and asked the public’s help identifying the driver. Police were able to identify the driver and said he is a juvenile, and his name will not be released. Because of the extent of damage made to the field, police say they will be filing a juvenile petition on the driver. The field is also used for youth soccer. Two yards in the area were also damaged.
