Children and Pets are Removed from a Home; Parents Arrested

Two people were charged in Fayette County after deputies said they found illegal narcotics at a home and children walking in their bare feet on floors covered with animal urine and feces. Christal Foster and Anthony Geiger face charges after deputies responded Monday to assist Child Protective Services at a residence in Collinwood Acres in Oak Hill, according to a news release from the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies found the home in deplorable conditions with no running water, illegal narcotics and drug paraphernalia. Child Protective Services took custody of the kids, and Fayette County Animal Control took possession of numerous animals. Foster and Geiger were charged with three counts of child neglect along with other charges.
