City of Charleston to Begin Loose Leaf Collection Next Week

Charleston residents have a chance to rid their yards of those mounds of leaves that have been piling up. The city says loose-leaf collection will begin Nov. 1. Residents are encouraged to collect their leaves, bag them and leave them curbside on their normal trash collection day. There is no limit to the amount of bags that will be collected during normal pickup. Loose leave collection will be Monday and Tuesday – Kanawha City; Wednesday and Thursday – South Hills; Friday – West Side, North Charleston and East End.
