There will be a Christmas parade in Charleston this year. The city announced in a news release that the parade will be held Thursday, December 9, beginning at 7 p.m. The parade was canceled last year due to the pandemic. If your group or organization would like to be a part of the parade, you can download a parade application on the City of Charleston website and have it back by Monday, November 15. Parade lineup will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Kanawha Boulevard and there will be street closures in the area.
