West Virginia State Police officers and Department of Corrections employees are calling for hazard pay for their service during the COVID-19 pandemic. The West Virginia State Troopers Association and the National Coalition of Public Safety Officers made a formal request to Governor Justice and members of the legislature asking for the funds to be allocated from the American Rescue Plan.
