Lincoln County Man is Arrested After a Police Pursuit

A man sought in connection with a stolen vehicle and a pursuit that ended with a police cruiser crash has been taken into custody. 25-year old Timothy Workman of Lincoln County, was arrested in Kanawha County on Friday. St. Albans Police Chief Joe Crawford said Workman was originally wanted in connection with a stolen vehicle in Boone County. When police spotted the vehicle earlier this week in St. Albans, they said Workman led them on a pursuit that ended with a police cruiser and another vehicle colliding. The officer involved in the crash was taken to the hospital with minor injuries and later released. Police lost track of Workman following the crash and the next day, the United States Marshals Service joined the St. Albans Police Department in their search for Workman. He is being held in South Central Regional Jail on five different bonds from Lincoln, Boone, Kanawha and Nicholas counties totaling $285,000.
